About
Ruhie Pande is the Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief MarComm Officer and Head of CSR at Sterlite Electric. She holds an M.Sc in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Birkbeck College, London.
With two decades of experience, Ruhie leads the group’s people strategy, shaping talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness. She has built a reputation for driving transformation through an empathy led leadership approach, enabling her to craft HR strategies that strengthen capability, people experience, and performance across varied business environments.
Her career spans financial services, real estate, fashion retail, information technology, and FMCG, where she has played a central role in establishing high-performance, future-ready teams. In her previous role at Godrej Capital, she was instrumental in building the organization’s early leadership and talent bench.
Ruhie is actively associated with leading domestic and international HR and leadership forums and has been deeply involved in mentoring young women leaders. She also serves as Chairperson of the HRM Committee at the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Her contributions have earned industry wide recognition, including CHRO Asia’s 100 Most Influential HR Leaders in India, Asia Retail Congress’s 25 Most Talented HR Professionals in Retail, BW’s Most Influential Women (2025 & 2024), HRAI’s 25 Trailblazing Women of 2025, and IIGBI’s Leading Woman in HR award.
